Hope Lutheran Church

    Welcome UConn Students
Where are we?
Hope is just 400 yards down Dog Lane.
Walk past Husky Pizza and start to go down the hill.
Hope has a sign right in front
UConn students are an important part of Hope
As part of your UConn adventure I invite you to come and check out Hope.  A church home "away from home" is a healthy part of your spiritual life during your days here in Storrs. I'm Pastor Joe Nollet. I think you'll find that Hope can have a positive healthy impact on your life.
Our worship service is very user-friendly.  We have a pretty relaxed yet reverent atmosphere.  We blend some contemporary and some traditional things into our worship time.  You're invited to be involved in all the ministries and small groups as well.
Amidst all the studies, new friends, parties, sports, and big life challenges of college... it is so, so healthy to keep close in our walk with God.
Feel free to call and chat with me about Hope and how we can be a part of your UConn adventure.    Pastor Joe Nollet
Ways to get to Worship!
(1) Fellow students are great about giving each other rides.  There are some dedicated students that will share #'s and offer to pick up on the way.
(2) Free Uber to Worship.  We have an account that allows you to call for an Uber ride and the church is billed.  You have to 1st be in the list.  This depends on "driver availability (which is sometimes a problem) and distance to church
(3) Shuttle Rides from church members.   If you let us know by Friday we can coordinate a shuttle ride for Sunday morn by church members.  Use the form below
Rides2Worship

We offer rides to Worship for UConn students.  Members or upperclassmen with cars take turns doing a "shuttle".

1) We will gladly add new "pick-up" spots that work better for you
3) These trusted drivers will have the church's "Rides2Worship" magnet on the side of their car.
